| Brief Description: |
The James Madison High School Band will be hosting the 6th Annual Vienna Turkey Trot 5K. Proceeds will benefit the JMHS "Pride of Vienna" Band and the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for a local food bank. Join us for a great run, super music, fun prizes, refreshments after the race and more! |

Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration is from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM. Race begins at 8:00 AM sharp! The 3.1 mile course starts at Cherry Street to the side of the Fire Department, goes to Elm Street, then to Cottage. The turnaround point on Cottage is at Patrick Street SW. A trophy, along with a turkey, will be given to the overall male winner and the overall female winner. Awards will also be given to the overall second and third place male and female winners, as well as the first, second and third place male and female winners of the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. Race packets must be picked up on race day before 7:45 AM and will not be available after the race. T-shirts are not guaranteed for participants registering after October 31. |
